Alphonso James was accused of repeatedly shooting Jaren Minies, 18, in a dispute over a gun, money and a video game system in 2018.Court documents say Minies met with James to sell him an Xbox in exchange for a gun. Before the deal was closed, however, James tried to steal another gun Minies was carrying, shooting him seven times in the process.Minies died before he got to the hospital. James was convicted on Wednesday.
